Loyal customer Base
However, a huge obstacle to brand expansion was a lack of creative that concisely explained the product to someone who’d never heard of Perk before. Where their engaged audience was primarily based in the Mountain West (where a huge part of the population doesn’t drink coffee), they needed fresh creative that would be able to convince people in other parts of the country to cut the coffee and try Perk’s AMAZING flavors and incredible health benefits.
Agile Hero Video
It all started with a hero video introducing Perk Energy and featuring a real-life Perk customer (and micro-influencer) making her morning staple mug of Perk.
The video was multiplied into nine different variations of copy and lengths to support every stage of the funnel and find hooks that resonated with the audience.
Features & Flavors
We then followed up the hero video with ads showcasing Perk’s amazing features (Protein, Collagen, Immune Support, Antioxidants) and its mouth-watering flavors (Chai Latte, Dutch Hot Cocoa, Mexican Hot Chocolate…).

For a social media-savvy audience like Perk’s we needed to balance refined and high-production creative with authentic content. We recruited and directed a few Perk super-fans to share their love for the products and show how they incorporate it into their busy lives.
